Temporarily unemployed developer doing open source work for fun (and profit?)
Description
Hey!
I'm currently unemployed and working on some open source projects for fun. My most popular project is Dragon Warrior Randomizer, but I have several others currently.Right now I'm working on a self-hostable media server optimized for TV series and Anime viewing called Okashi Media Server. I also have a project to OCR image-based subtitles and convert those to a text format (ASS) that has been put on hold while I work on the media server.
Once Okashi Media Server reaches a good usable state (1-2 months?) I'm sure something else will catch my interest as well.
Some of my projects you may be interested in:
- Okashi Media Server
- Dragon Warrior Randomizer - code
- Magpie - a command line password manager
- nes-disasm6 - A disassembler for NES roms
I thought I'd set this up to get a little income coming my way while I search for new employment. In the mean time I will likely be working on whatever catches my fancy and giving it away for free. If you'd like to support that work, I appreciate anything you are willing to offer.
