StoneOcean provides free of charge, privacy respecting services, and that isn't free. Your generous support helps us keep all the services you use functioning smoothly. Any donations in excess of our operating costs will be given to support the open source software that runs our services.
Operating Costs
Our current operating costs are as follows:

This brings our weekly operating cost to about US$1.41.
Goals
- If we receive US$5/week, we will look into creating a dynamic dns service like duckdns
- If we receive US$7/week, we will look into creating a self publishing platform like medium
- If we receive US$10/week, we will look into creating a cloud storage solution using NextCloud
The reason that these are 'locked' behind goals is that services like these expose us to liability from abuse and cost more money to run due to large amounts of user data being stored.
