REMORPHDESIGN
Open-source filament 3D printing designs focused on longevity and openness
Description
Remorph Design develops open-source filament 3D printer designs and related components. The aim is to bring back the spirit of durable, well-aging industrial machines to desktop filament printing — serious designs that can be built nearly anywhere, using easily sourced parts and parts that most workshops can machine, with openness as a core principle.
The work prioritizes longevity, maintainability, practical engineering choices, and designs that age well rather than chasing short-term trends. Currently this includes the Remorph printer and related components such as hotends; more designs will follow. Everything is released under the CERN Open Hardware Licence.
Support helps cover prototyping, documentation, and continued open development of current and future designs.
