omega tau is a science and engineering podcast that publishes detailed interviews with experts in their field, as well as on-site reports from interesting facilities, such as telescopes, ships or large-scale science experiments. Especially the trips to those facilities can become expensive. Since we have no sponsors or advertising, we rely on support from our audience. The money we get through Liberapay is used primarily to finance those trips, but also other operating cost (such as web hosting or download bandwidth) or equipment (recorders, microphones).
