Soy latina, Caribbean, afro-Dominicana learning to code on my way to becoming full-stack developer. As a woman of color in a male dominated industry, I advocate for the inclusion and education of undeserved minorities.
On my journey, I’m helping others learn by: Volunteering at Rails Bridge Seattle helping women learn Ruby on Rails.
By speaking up on bias towards minorities and underrepresented groups in tech.
My presence in tech events and industry. As a woman of color, I share my voice in hopes to create more inclusivity in tech.
What I’m doing now: learning full stack JavaScript with freeCodeCamp. As part of freeCodeCamp, I'll be working with nonprofits to build real-life software solutions.
